9 years ago i done stupid things. I got a criminal record for possession of a class A. I am 30 now. Can i still get into the USA and Austrilaia for visits or even work.
Since the conviction i have gone to univeristy, got myself a good job.
But i am still worrying. Please could anyone give me any advice or history on the subject
Possession of a class A? Could you spell that out?
If you were convicted of possession of a controlled substance, you are not admissible to the United States. I don’t know Australian law.
Because of your conviction for possession of a controlled substance, if that is what you mean, you are not eligible for a visa or admission to the U.S. If you want to try for a waiver of the grounds of inadmissibility, you could try that by working through the closest U.S. consulate.
I’ll let the people from Oz handle the rest of your question.
here in the US with a criminal record it’s not easy to get a job. just in general right now it’s hard for all of us to get a job. so i advise that if you’re doing good where you’re at stay there.
