Does Tom Cruise’s odd behavior affect the credibility of his roles onscreen?

I know that this is probably old news, but his odd behavior offscreen keeps me from believing any roles he plays in movies anymore – instead of seeing the main character, I just see this odd little guy who has an obsession with expressing to everyone his personal beliefs and opinions. Anyone with me on this one?
It affected him enough to play a nazi in his last role.
Most definitely people think this. That’s why the Weinstein brothers bailed on him and left him out to dry. He’s had to personally Finance (a portion) of this German WWII flic and that flop that came out before that. He’s no longer backed by the big Hollywood studios.
He’s a great actor, I loved him in those Mission Impossible films & in Rain Man, he just can’t play the role as a human being.
Tom Cruise is good looking….great man, great performer….the phenomenon heartthrob…tom cruise for me is the best…
