No it appears that he had already broken the glass on the bottom part of the left door and tried to escape through that door on the way out, but instead got it wrong in confusion and picked the wrong door on the right.
When he hits the right door though, glass falls from the top part of the left door as the impact vibrates through them both which must have already been partially shattered.
The guy is still a fuck wit regardless.
